Suria KLCC is, in my opinion, a really nice shopping mall to wander about. With so many dining options, it was really difficult for me to decide where to eat though. Located at the top floor (if I'm not mistaken) of the mall, Little Penang Kafe grabbed my attention.

MAS: Kim Lian Kee

Kim Lian Kee is known to be one of the most famous eateries situated at Petaling Street, at the heart of the Chinatown of Kuala Lumpur. As I looked around while trying to decide what to order, I noticed that most people ordered (at least) a plate of Hokkien noodle, the star of the eatery.

FRA: Restaurant Jussieu

Awesome canteen food for just €3.00!

I'm sorry for this long overdue review on the canteen food I had during the summer school. Unless I can find out the addresses of those random cafés I visited, this shall be the last review related to the summer school. For just €3.00 (~S$4.95), you'll get a full meal consisting of appetiser, main course and dessert. The variety of food available is amazing. During that period, I think I ate more than ten times in the canteen. To avoid a super long review, I've decided to pick three of the meals randomly. Enjoy!

Let's save it for later, and let me introduce you to a bakery which has been consistent in quality over the years. I'd say I grew up with various kinds of bread made by this bakery. Cheap and good!

2012 is Here!

Happy New Year, everyone! :D Big hugs from Pikachu and Melon!

This year, we're thinking of starting to write reviews on airline meals, where each review will be given only two tags/labels for simplicity: the country associated with the airline, as well as the new tag 'Airline Meals'. Actually, we wanted to review those meals which we've had on board, including the ever-interesting J and F class meals. However, due to the much agonising crash of hard drive 2 semesters ago, all the necessary pictures have gone (no back-up data ><). Well, probably we won't have the time to fly that often nowadays, much less in luxury, perhaps, but we'll try our best!

Also, we'll be leaving for Hong Kong, another food paradise, for a one semester exchange on 26 January! So, stay tuned! :) Ahh, that reminds me... We need to locate that KrisFlyer membership card before the departure date... ><
