SIN: The Mushroom Pot {CLOSED}

Image
Charming, colourful mushroom rolls! UPDATE (15/08/2019):  The restaurant has closed down. Even though I'm a glutton, actually I'm not exactly a big fan of buffet. One part of me thinks that it's very sinful because I can eat a lot like there's no tomorrow, but at the same time, I do look forward to having a buffet meal with friends once in a while. If you're a lover of mushrooms, The Mushroom Pot may be for you.

SIN: Bruce Café {CLOSED}

Disastrous mango pudding... UPDATE (29/06/2018):  The cafĂ© has closed down. There was a time when I was just tired of canteen food here in NUS, so I went to UTown to grab my dinner with my friend. When I saw a HK style cafĂ©, still with the fond memories of the exchange programme glued onto my brain, I immediately dragged him there.

SIN: Spice Sutra {CLOSED}

Gobi Mansurian: popular Indian Chinese dish! UPDATE (16/01/2019):  The restaurant has closed down. Spice Sutra is a hidden gem located in Upper Thomson, serving a wide array of North Indian dishes, as well as (at least) one Indian Chinese offering which I had been wanting to try for quite some time. All the ingredients used in the restaurant are Halal certified.

SIN: Pasta Inc.

Image
Watch your teeth after eating the squid ink pasta! Before I say anything else, please ignore my face in the cover picture of today's review and just focus on how cute Pikachu is, ready to gobble his pasta haha... Yeah, I've been asked by a lot of people whether I bring Pikachu and Melon around when I go for a food hunt. Well, I do, but not all the time. Pasta Inc. is one of the lucky restaurants to see Pikachu that day! :)

SIN: Lawry's, The Prime Rib

How big is The "Diamond Jim Brady" Cut? Welcome to our 200th review! It's been an interesting food journey all along with Pikachu and Melon, and of course, we can't do without your utmost support, our beloved readers! Thank you very much. Today's review is on one of the world's famous steakhouses which was founded in 1938 in California.

SIN: Boatmen Seafood

Image
Chinese seafood by an Italian owner! Boatmen Seafood is a newly opened restaurant at the East Coast Seafood Centre. The friendly owner of PizItalia next door decided to expand his business by opening up a Chinese restaurant. It was pretty amusing to be handed out two menus at the same time. After a refreshing cycling in the morning, I decided to give it a try.

SIN: Grandma's Restaurant

Image
Expensive and rich nasi lemak! Isn't that a catchy introductory phrase: expensive and rich haha... Anyway, I happened to be walking around in Nex the other day when I suddenly remembered that people have been talking about Grandma's nasi lemak  (Malay rice dish cooked in coconut milk with pandan leaves). Since I was there and I didn't plan beforehand where I'd go for dinner, off I went to the restaurant.

SIN: Steakout {CLOSED}

Image
Savoury ribeye steak and sweet lava cake! UPDATE (04/11/2020):  The restaurant has closed down. Fancy a plate of nice and affordable steak after a tiring day of school or work? Drop by Steakout, an eatery known to be a famous hang out spot among SMU students. With a wide range of side dishes to go with your main course to choose from, you'll be spoilt for choice.

SIN: Just Acia

Image
D.I.Y. root beer float! ^^ Today's review is on an eatery which is close to where I'm staying at the moment. Having one branch tucked in the NUS School of Medicine, Just Acia offers a rendition of traditional and fusion Asian cuisine. Note that all set meals include free flow beverages and ice cream.

SIN: Charly T's {CLOSED}

Image
Smoky, savoury Hawaiian style pork! UPDATE (01/05/2016):  The eatery has closed down. 2013 is here! Pikachu, Melon and I hope that everyone has had a good start so far. While the first half of this year is going to be very busy due to the amount of time that has to be spent on the last lap of my final year project in NUS, I'll try my best to update at least once a week. Today's review is on Charly T, an eatery famous for its rotisserie chicken.
