SIN: Oliva Italian Restaurant

Orgasmic lasagne with cream sauce; no, cream sauce with lasagne! Thinking of having a candlelight dinner without costing yourself an arm and a leg? I went to Oliva Italian Restaurant with a friend of mine without knowing that the dim ambience for dinner would be a bit romantic, and so I had an unexpected candlelight dinner just with him haha... Well, not exactly, I actually brought Melon along that day. I apologise for the low quality of the photos taken.

Sweet and savoury peanut butter pie to end your meal! UPDATE (09/04/2020):  The eatery has closed down. Have you had the chance to visit the Maritime Experiential Museum, as well as the newly opened Marine Life Park situated within Resorts World Sentosa? I'm an avid lover of marine creatures, and thus I took the opportunity to visit the world's largest oceanarium which houses over 800 species. Following which, I dined at Fish & Crab Shack, a casual eatery offering Chinese and Western food.

Six course Chinese New Year dinner! :D UPDATE (17/06/2014):  I just went to Sentosa again yesterday, and discovered that Chinois has been renamed to Tung Lok Heen. I'm pretty sure that most, if not all, people think that a reunion dinner on Chinese New Year should be loud and cheerful. Since I'm a person who just wants to avoid the crowd and noise all the time, I purposely had mine with my eating buddy, as well as Pikachu and Melon last Friday instead at Chinois, a restaurant by a HK-born celebrity chef, Susur Lee, who migrated to Canada where he worked his way to become a renowned chef.

SIN: Sakae Sushi [Rong Yu Sheng]

Prosperity toss with chuka kurage! Can you believe that it's already the 3rd day of Chinese New Year? Yeah, that means I have to go to school tomorrow, sigh... Haha... Anyway, as mentioned previously, this year I'm going to write a short review on the yu sheng (Teochew raw fish salad) I took away from Sakae Sushi.

SIN: IDLE {MOVED}

Mouth-watering lamb shank with mashed potatoes! UPDATE (18/07/2018):  The restaurant has moved to  50 Prinsep Street. February is finally here, and that means this blog is gonna turn two years old very soon! I really feel that I can only update on Sunday for now since life has been so hectic that I need to borrow a cat's paw (a literal translation of the Japanese idiom: 猫の手も借りたい). Anyway, today's review is on a bistro cum bar "with great food amidst the jungle".
