HKG: Club Bauhinia Lounge @ Hong Kong International Airport

Made-to-order cart noodle inside Hong Kong Airlines' lounge! Nope, my BFF and I weren't going to stay in HK yet. Following the flight SQ866 , we spent some time at Citygate Outlets near Tung Chung MTR Station before going back to the airport. Prior to our flight to Bangkok, Thailand on Hong Kong Airlines, we had the opportunity to have dinner and relax at the airlines' lounge.

Gratifying grilled beef fillet with Madeira sauce in the sky~ Pardon me for not writing often these days as my mother had to be hospitalised due to thyroid cancer, and I'm glad that she's getting better. Anyway, it's been three years in a row that I actually flew to HK in December with Singapore Airlines. Today's post looks into the meal service on the new Business Class cabin onboard Boeing 777-300ER.

Delectable lemon Basmati rice and vegetable curry! After the Overseas Community Involvement Project trip to Phnom Penh, Cambodia, it was time for my personal trip to HK, Luang Prabang in Laos and Siem Reap in Cambodia. The journey began at Changi Airport T3 with a chilling time at SilverKris Business Class Lounge while waiting for my flight to HK.

Authentic Khmer cuisine with a view of  Tonlé Sap River~ After dining at Chinese and Malaysian restaurants for a few days in the capital city of Cambodia, the tour guide that brought us around during our Overseas Community Involvement Project trip finally announced that we'd be having Khmer food for lunch. Given the location of the restaurant next to the river, it's no wonder why this honest-to-goodness restaurant is a popular spot for tourists.

A good cup (or two) of coffee with buttery aroma every morning~ I stayed at Rose Emerald Hotel (3*), which is located 1.1 km away from Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum, during the Overseas Community Involvement Project trip. The restaurant is located on the 11th floor where one can enjoy the view of the city while having breakfast.

How Mexican was the Mexican chicken? Hi, I'm back! How's the new year so far? I shall begin this year with a quick review on SilkAir's economy class meals. I took the airline for the first time last November on a school trip to Phnom Penh, Cambodia.
