SIN: Ibis Styles Singapore on MacPherson [Breakfast]
A simple breakfast by the swimming pool~
Ibis Styles (3*) is a relatively new hotel that began its operation in April 2016. Given a corporate discount that I was entitled to a while ago, I decided to have a 2D1N staycation all by myself. Let's take a quick look at the buffet spread for breakfast.
Assorted Stuff #1
The lao shu fen (lit. rat noodle) wasn't too shabby as it was cooked with a generous amount of dark soy sauce, although the beansprouts weren't exactly fresh. It was accompanied by soy sauce chicken wings and stir-fried cabbages.
Assorted Stuff #2
The purple lettuce leaves weren't crisp, while the cucumber slices were somewhat crunchy. On the other hand, the deep-fried hash brown and samosa were still warm and not overly oily.
Assorted Stuff #3
I recall there were lots of people queueing for the bread toaster, and I was too lazy to join them. Besides a slice of bread to go with the blueberry and strawberry jam, I also took a not-so-buttery croissant and a mini bun filled with lotus paste.
Coffee & Pineapple Juice
I had a cup of frothy cappuccino from the coffee machine, which turned out to be of medium strength, as well as a glass of pineapple juice.
