JPN: De Rode Leeuw @ Huis Ten Bosch

Have you tried Sasebo's specialty dish of lemon steak? It was fun doing the VR rides and games, as well as exploring the grounds of Huis Ten Bosch in Kyushu, Japan. Before we knew it, it was time for dinner. My BFFs and I decided to have our meal at De Rode Leeuw, a restaurant situated in the Tower City section of the theme park that serves Sasebo style lemon steak.

What's Sasebo burger? My BFFs and I spent one full day at Huis Ten Bosch, a Dutch-themed amusement park in Kyushu, Japan that wasn't crowded in early December last year. For lunch, we were headed to DAM that serves Sasebo burger, which was introduced in 1950s by the US forces stationed in the region. McDonald's, in contrast, only came to Japan in 1971.

Soft serve for breakfast? Why not? Two days ago, I wrote about the buffet breakfast at Sakura , one of the restaurants at Hotel Okura JR Huis Ten Bosch. Today, we shall take a look at the other restaurant we can go to for breakfast, namely Camellia, which is located on the first floor of the hotel. Having a larger capacity than the former, Camellia seems to be more popular too.

Free-flow 'onsen tamago' for breakfast, anyone? In Sasebo, Japan, my BFFs and I stayed at Hotel Okura JR Huis Ten Bosch. It's located just outside the wacky Dutch-themed amusement park. For breakfast, there are two restaurants that we can go to. This post showcases the food and drinks I had at Sakura, a Japanese restaurant on the third floor.

JPN: Ramen Toride (らーめん砦)

I've fallen in love with its ramen right from the first bite! Welcome to Sasebo, a core city located in the mid-northern part of Nagasaki Prefecture, Japan! Located within walking distance from Sasebo railway station and Sasebo Seaside Park is the original branch of Ramen Toride that has a maximum capacity of only 11 guests at any one time. I assure you that it's going to be worth the wait.
