Fulfilling buffet breakfast with yummy custard bun! Bailing Hotel (4*) is strategically situated along the Pearl River, the third largest river in China which spans eight provinces. It's also conveniently located near the bustling Beijing Road shopping district, and within walking distance from Haizhu Square metro station.

Nice business boutique hotel, but... The alphabet 'J' in J Hotel (4*) stands for Jaguar, but I've got no idea why they chose to name the hotel so. The hotel is located not too far away from Guangzhou East Railway Station that can be reached by foot within 10 minutes or so, and only one metro station away from Grandview Mall, the largest shopping mall in Guangzhou.

Lavish Cantonese food at surprisingly affordable prices! Sitting on the bank of Liwan Lake in the heart of old Guangzhou, witnessing numerous changes since 1947, Pan Xi Restaurant is a huge, garden-style establishment. It has won various awards, including at least one from the Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China.

"Better ingredients. Better pizza. Papa John's." Papa John's, which is based in Louisville, Kentucky, is actually the third largest take-out and delivery pizza restaurant chain in the United States (care to have a guess on the first and second largest?). Due to its popularity, Papa John's is now available in over 30 countries! Anyway, I ordered the Set Meal   for Two  priced at RMB 118.00 (~S$23.60) . Let's see whether I agree with their above-mentioned slogan.
