Sinori GEL 7.50 (~S$4.00)

I was tempted by the description of the dish that says cottage cheese, butter and garlic. I know this may sound weird, but the shaved cottage cheese somewhat reminded me of chee cheong fun (Chinese rice noodle roll) in terms of texture. The dish was a tad heavy, and I was hoping that it'd be more garlicky.
Ajapsandali GEL 8.00 (~S$4.30)
Taste: 7/10
Known as a traditional eggplant stew of the Caucasus to international audience, the ajapsandali served that afternoon was pleasant. The local style vegetable ragout featured a potpourri of eggplants, bell peppers, tomatoes, potatoes and garlic. Pika's advice: Take note that it's a seasonal dish, which may not be available everyday.
Baked Trout GEL 8.00 (~S$4.30)
Taste: 6.5/10
The trout presented before my eyes was acceptably fresh, but the flesh wasn't as sweet as those I had in Samikitno and Chela Funicular in Tbilisi. It was a pity that there were only two very thin slices of lemon on the side. It'd certainly be great to have some fresh lemon juice on the fish.
Kharcho GEL 8.50 (~S$4.55)
Taste: 7.5/10
Kharcho is a traditional Georgian soup containing beef, rice, cherry plum purée and chopped English walnut, served with finely chopped coriander leaves. I enjoyed it as it was mildly flavourful, but the unique taste lingered on the tongue. Despite the fact that there were only two pieces of beef, they were quite tender.
Vanilla Lemonade GEL 3.00 (~S$1.60)
Here's another flavour of the ubiquitous lemonade in the country. My BFF and I agreed that it seemed to be sweeter than the rest, but fragrant nonetheless.

Anyway, the comedy movie that was released on 27 March 1978 seems to be quite highly rated.
