Fried Chicken - Taste: 4/10
Fried Fish - Taste: 6.5/10
Corn Muffin - Taste: 4/10
My BFF and I decided on two pieces of original fried chicken and one piece of hot and spicy chicken. The former was disappointing as they weren't particularly flavourful with a somewhat bitter aftertaste. The latter, on the other hand, was tastier, but dripping with oil. The fried fish wasn't too shabby, although the batter was too thick for my liking. Besides that, I didn't really like the corn muffin that had a doughy taste, calling for a longer baking time.
Coleslaw - Taste: 8/10
Onion Rings - Taste: 7/10
Cheesy Waffle Fries - Taste: 7/10
The coleslaw was the best item of the evening as the vegetables were crisp, doused with buttermilk dressing that was delectably sweet and creamy. Both the onion rings and waffle fries weren't extremely oily. The latter were topped with nacho cheese and chopped onions.

To be frank, I regretted going to Chic-a-Boo last night. I'd rather have my beloved Lemon and Lime Chicken at Astons.
