MAS: Little Penang Kafe

Image
Enjoyable koay teow and nasi lemak! Suria KLCC is, in my opinion, a really nice shopping mall to wander about. With so many dining options, it was really difficult for me to decide where to eat though. Located at the top floor (if I'm not mistaken) of the mall, Little Penang Kafe grabbed my attention.

MAS: Kim Lian Kee

Serving Hokkien Mee since the 1920s! Kim Lian Kee is known to be one of the most famous eateries situated at Petaling Street, at the heart of the Chinatown of Kuala Lumpur. As I looked around while trying to decide what to order, I noticed that most people ordered (at least) a plate of Hokkien noodle, the star of the eatery.

Decent noodle for breakfast :) Greetings from Hong Kong! While Melon and Pikachu are still settling down, they'll still take their time to help me write reviews. Anyway, I won't start doing any HK stuff for now, but I'll review some eateries I visited during my short visit to Kuala Lumpur a while ago.

FRA: Le Four des Navettes

Selling navettes since 1781! I'm going to take back my words in the previous entry. I overlooked a set of pictures on one of the culinary specialties in Marseille: navette , a hard, dry biscuit in the shape of a vessel.

Awesome canteen food for just €3.00! I'm sorry for this long overdue review on the canteen food I had during the summer school. Unless I can find out the addresses of those random cafés I visited, this shall be the last review related to the summer school. For just  €3.00 (~S$4.95) , you'll get a full meal consisting of appetiser, main course and dessert. The variety of food available is amazing. During that period, I think I ate more than ten times in the canteen. To avoid a super long review, I've decided to pick three of the meals randomly. Enjoy!

Roti kombinasi: what'll you get? I wanted to write a review on the canteen food I had during the summer school, but somehow I couldn't find the necessary pictures. Let's save it for later, and let me introduce you to a bakery which has been consistent in quality over the years. I'd say I grew up with various kinds of bread made by this bakery. Cheap and good!

FRA: Beaujolais Wine Region [Feast]

Wine, women(?) and song: once-in-a-lifetime experience! Before I start, I'm quite surprised that my first review on airline meals have attracted many readers. That means I should keep it up! Anyway, today I'm going to review a feast specially prepared by the villagers when I visited the Beaujolais wine region; a special moment during the summer school that has left an indelible mark in my memory.

Surprisingly delightful Chinese dish onboard Air France! With the new year resolution regarding airline meals ( read here ), I'll begin this year with a review on Air France's Economy Class meals when I departed from Paris-CDG.
