Roti kombinasi: what'll you get?

I wanted to write a review on the canteen food I had during the summer school, but somehow I couldn't find the necessary pictures. Let's save it for later, and let me introduce you to a bakery which has been consistent in quality over the years. I'd say I grew up with various kinds of bread made by this bakery. Cheap and good!

Roti Kombinasi Rp 12,000 (~S$1.70)
Taste: 7.5/10

I'll start with this fun bun! The bun had 8 different segments with supposedly different fillings. The other day we got chocolate (two segments), strawberry, pineapple, kaya, chunky peanut butter, coconut and milk. I really enjoyed the milk filling which was sweet and crumbly in texture. The kaya filling was creamy. Anyway, there's no way to find out the fillings by just looking at the bun. Try your luck! Pika's advice: Of course you can peel the lower part of the bun a little bit to peek at the filling and leave that particular segment if you don't like the filling haha...

Roti Kopi Rp 5,000 (~S$0.70)
Taste: 7.5/10

Rotiboy has indeed inspired quite a few bakeries to make something similar. While the coffee bread didn't have a crispy crust, it had a delightful coffee taste on the outside. The bread was filled with thick chocolate filling which wasn't too sweet.

Roti Keju Panjang Rp 7,000 (~S$1.00)
Taste: 8/10

It seems like they ran out of the printed version of the wrapper the other day. Anyway, I really enjoyed the long cheese bun as it was filled with sweet cream and savoury cheese.

Melon's Rating
Taste: 7.5/10

All in all, most of the fillings in each bun were enjoyable, and they weren't overly sweet. Its plain loaf is always good with its fluffy texture as it's baked to perfection.
