How good is the famous butter squid? Thai Pan - a hidden gem. Recently, I dropped by the restaurant located at Civil Service Club @ Changi. There's another branch is at Mandarin Gardens Condominium. Pardon me for the low quality of the pictures this time round. My 1.3 megapixel camera phone can't give crystal clear pictures under medium to low light intensity.

One of the most value-for-money Japanese buffet restaurants in Singapore! UPDATE (09/02/2019):  The restaurant has closed down. Having heard (almost) unanimously good reviews, I finally went for this cheap buffet run by the Suki Group. It was indeed a wonderful dining experience. I took many photos, but I'll only show a few of them. The rest is for you to imagine! I guess I'll list down the weekday lunch (12 noon - 3.00pm) prices here. Celebrate with 30% more cheese! I went to Changi Airport in the afternoon to send a friend off. Craving for some pepperoni, we patronised the restaurant at Terminal 1. Pika's advice: Enjoy discounts by bringing along the food coupons which you can find in their website. The promotion is valid till 10 April 2011.

Daily lunch with all-u-care-to-eat salad bar, anyone? UPDATE (11/03/2016):  The restaurant has closed down. I believe there are two Sizzler branches in Singapore - one is at Toa Payoh and the other one is inside Suntec City Mall. I used to patronise the former quite frequently in the past since Toa Payoh is just a few bus stops away from Catholic Junior College Hostel, a homely place where I lived in during my secondary school days. To be honest, I've only tried their quick lunch deals. :P

Cheap and yummy Indonesian food in school! It has been a really busy week. I'll write something that is close to heart (and close in terms of distance from where I live as well!). Indonesian Panggang was first established in NUS Techno Edge (Engineering Canteen) in 2005. There are now branches in NUS Frontier (Science Canteen), NUS The Deck (Arts Canteen), NTU and West Coast Road. Each branch seems to offer different menu. The one which I frequently visit is the one in the NUS Frontier, simply because I spend most of my time in the Faculty of Science! Let's use the present tense since I buy something from this stall very often (at least once a week).
