LAO: Manda De Laos

Image
The best wok-fried assorted mushrooms I've ever eaten till date! The last dinner that I had in Luang Prabang, Laos, turned out to be a huge astonishment. My BFF and I randomly picked on one of the top five restaurants around, and we landed ourselves at the one with three amazing lotus ponds.

Starting the meal and ending it off with bananas! :P After spending the cool morning exploring the town of Luang Prabang, Laos, my BFF and I went to Bamboo Tree that's famous for its cooking classes. We didn't have the chance to experience that, but we were satisfied with the meal offered at the restaurant.

LAO: Le Tangor

Renowned fresh tilapia ceviche in town! The second day at Luang Prabang, Laos was filled with adventure outside of town. I'll talk more about it in my travel blog in the near future. At the end of the fun, yet tiring day, my BFF and I decided to dine and chill at Le Tangor that's famous for its signature ceviche (South American dish of marinated raw fish).

Made-to-order breakfast in a tranquil setting! Established in 2008, Lotus Villa Boutique Hotel (3*), offers within fifteen rustic rooms and two suites in its cosy property. It is a mere one block away the Mekong River and close to Wat Xieng Thong, an important Buddhist temple that's the icon of Luang Prabang. The hotel serves a la carte buffet.

Such a fresh local salad and inspiring local style crème brûlée! I've fallen in love with Luang Prabang, a heritage town in north central Laos, the moment I landed there. On the first day, my BFF and I decided to have dinner at the well-known Coconut Garden situated along Sisavangvong Road, one of the main roads in the tranquil town.

Colourful curry chicken dish! As a regional airline based in the capital city of Thailand, Bangkok Airways has been living up to its slogan: "Asia's Boutique Airline" with its good service. Founded in 1968 as Sahakol Air, it has consistently been ranked by Skytrax as a 4 Star Airline till date.

THA: Bangkok Airways International Boutique Lounge @ Suvarnabhumi Airport

Image
Free flow rice crackers and addictive iced coffee! My BFF and I were going to fly again instead of spending time at Bangkok, Thailand for holiday. We made the conscientious decision to try out several airlines last December to the point of having to fly round and round. Bangkok Airways offers lounge access to all its passengers, so let's take a look at the snacks offered inside the boutique lounge at Suvarnabhumi Airport.

HKG: Hong Kong Airlines [Business, International, Short-Haul]

Happy partnership with Hoi King Heen of HK and Blue Elephant of Thailand! After taking the airline for the first time to Okinawa, Japan , it felt great to be onboard Hong Kong Airlines again because I really like its predominantly red and purple interior. Well, it was one of the rare moments of having supper after 1.30am as I don't usually sleep beyond midnight in the recent years.
