Strawberry tea time!

Time Tunnel is a museum built to preserve the the historical memory and cultural heritage of Cameron Highlands, showcasing vintage items that'd take you on a trip down the memory lane. It has a small café for you to relax before continuing on your journey around the region.


Set F RM 9.90 (~S$4.10)
Taste: 9/10

I ordered the set which happens to be the most expensive one, comprising a strawberry tart, a strawberry muffin and a cup of strawberry juice.


Strawberry Tart (Set Menu)
Taste: 6.5/10

I found that the tart was a bit too fragile, even though it had an adequate buttery taste. Other than that, there was enough sweet strawberry jam inside.


Strawberry Muffin (Set Menu)
Taste: 8/10

The muffin was better than the tart. It wasn't only adequately smooth and velvety, but also contained lots of strawberry jam which was lusciously sweet.


Strawberry Juice (Set Menu)
Taste: 8/10

The cold strawberry juice was refreshing, but I'd love it if they could give a bit more sugar to nicely counter the sour of the fruit.

Ambience: 6/10
Overall: 6.5/10

There wasn't anything to talk about service since I just ordered from the counter and got my food within two minutes or so. Pika's advice: Beware of flies!

Pancake x  soufflé originated from Tokyo! Hailing from Japan, Flipper's is a chain café renowned for its fluffy, jiggly soufflé pancakes. While I've never had the chance to try the pancakes in its country of origin, I was excited to finally experience them at the Westgate branch here in Singapore, which has been drawing long lines of eager patrons.

Surprisingly rich chocolate mousse! Here's the last post to wrap up the travel to the Americas. After travelling in the Business Class cabin from Panama City, it was time to head to the back of the plane for the next leg of the journey from Istanbul, Turkey to Singapore. Despite the more modest comfort, the food wasn't too shabby.
