CAM: Lucky Burger
Guess what that purplish sauce on the burger was? :P
After eating snacks here and there in the late afternoon, my BFF and I weren't too hungry. As such, we decided to have a simple meal at the local burger joint inside Lucky Mall. Since we were there in December, we decided to try the limited edition Christmas burger.
The eatery occupies quite a huge area with plenty of seats.
Single Turkey Burger Meal US$3.95 (~S$5.55)
Single Turkey Burger - Taste: 7/10
French Fries - Taste: 7/10
Turkey patty with cranberry mayonnaise sounds nice, eh? While the patty could be moister and less oily, I quite liked the cranberry mayonnaise with a mild sour note. The fries weren't too greasy though. Coke was our choice of beverage that evening.
Fried Chicken with Rice US$2.50 (~S$3.50)
Taste: 7.5/10
I found the fried chicken to be pretty juicy, having crispy, flavourful battered skin attached. The accompanying pickled vegetables made a good accompaniment, although they could be more hydrated.
Crispy Stick US$2.10 (~S$2.95)
Taste: 6/10
I didn't quite enjoy the skewered cocktail sausages wrapped with bacon. Despite being crispy, they were leaning towards the dry and salty side.
Coffee Gelato US$1.30 (~S$1.80)
Taste: 7.5/10
The coffee-flavoured gelato, which I'd been eyeing on right from the start, was decent. It had a nice consistency, being slightly fragrant and not too sweet.

Ambience: 7/10
Overall: 7/10
Pika's advice: They've got more than ten flavours of gelato. Do try them as they seem pretty popular. For a change, here's a picture taken at the Angkor Silk Farm. taken at the Angkor Archaeological Park.
