ETH: Ethiopian Airlines ET433 (Economy)

Lacklustre breakfast, but I finished it anyway...

After many years, I finally flew with Ethiopian Airlines again. From Qatar, Doha, I was headed to Bamako, Mali in Africa via Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. Breakfast was served enroute to the capital city of Ethiopia. However, there was no choice of main course offered.

ET Meal

Egg, Sausage and Potato Wedges Taste: 4.5/10

The main course wasn't particularly appetising, but I did finish it. Besides not being creamy, the scrambled eggs were pretty much tasteless. The potato wedges were slightly more flavourful, but they were soggy. The sausage was alright.

Fruit Cocktail

A small cup of fruit cocktail mixed with nata de coco in light syrup was provided.

Vanilla Muffin

The industrial-made muffin was mildly sweet and not that moist.

Bread

The bread wasn't that fluffy. I ate it with unsalted butter and strawberry jam.

Beverages

Only a few types of juice, coffee, tea and mineral water were available. I opted for a cup of apple juice, which I felt wasn't chilled enough.

Melon's Rating
Taste: 4.5/10
Ambience: 5/10
Service: 6/10
Overall: 5/10

Pika's advice: There may be merit in pre-ordering a special meal. The person next to me, presumably a vegetarian, got a stew full of beans, which looked more appetising.
