Delicious mackerel pike fish in a 'lunch box'!

Another (and hopefully the last) draft that I've truly forgotten to publish way earlier is this Taiwanese eatery located at the well-known underground shopping mall near the Gongbei Port from which individuals enter Zhuhai from Macau. Anyway, that's quite a long name for an eatery, no?

Special Blend Lunch Box RMB 22.00 (~S$4.40)

Taste: 8/10

Even though the food was put in a bowl instead of a box, each item was arranged nicely instead of just being thrown here and there. I enjoyed the firm flesh of mackerel pike fish, as well as the savoury pork chop and sausages. The vegetables weren't overcooked.

Taiwan Tainan Danzai Noodle RMB 22.00 (~S$3.00)

Taste: 7.5/10

Many prepare danzai (lit. shoulder pole) noodle soup using shrimps, but I doubt it was the case for the one I tried. The thin noodle was adequately chewy, while the minced pork, pork knuckle and half an egg were braised pretty well. The soup could be seasoned better though as it was a bit lacking in salt and sugar. 

Taro + Green Beans + Honey Beans + Pearl Sago RMB 18.00 (~S$3.60)

Taste: 7.5/10

The colourful concoction of four ingredients was pleasing to the eye. While the taro bits were enjoyably chewy, I really wished the black pearls could match up the chewiness of the former. The honey beans were delightful on the palate, while I'd prefer the green beans to be slightly less mushy. Pika's advice: A few possible combinations are available at the same price.
