JPN: ANA Lounge @ Kansai International Airport
Limited buffet spread in a crammed lounge...
The stir-fried soba (Japanese buckwheat noodle) was pretty tasty, if not a tad dry. I also took a rice ball and a meatball that tasted so-so.
Overall: 5/10
The day when we'd be leaving Japan finally came. As we'd be flying with a Star Alliance airline in the Business Class, we were granted access to ANA lounge at Kansai International Airport. The not-so-spacious lounge was really crowded that morning, but thankfully we managed to get some seats to have a quick breakfast.
Pikachu was bowing before he enjoyed his curry rice.

ANA Original Chicken Curry Rice
A lot of people are raving about ANA's original concoction, which boasts rich flavours and thick consistency without the use of flour. I found the one served at the lounge to be good, but not spectacular. Also, it was a pity that I could hardly found any chicken chunks.
The danish came with a rather generous amount of blueberry jam. While it was buttery alright, it wasn't crispy. There was no toaster either to heat it up.
Cappuccino & Sake
From the coffee machine, I dispensed some cappuccino, which was decent. I also had a bit of sake (Japanese rice wine) with an alcohol content of 15%, which was gentle on the palate and had a smooth aftertaste.

Ambience: 4/10Overall: 5/10
To think that it's a lounge run by ANA, it was an underwhelming experience. Pika's advice: Perhaps it's best to spend your time elsewhere at the airport when the lounge is crowded.
